Don't blame yourself, maybe I wasn't clear enough, as it was late as well for me, plus, I'm not english, so I might not write very well at all ^^

My guess is that, obviously, the Dread from Last Stand does not use the same texture as the MP one. Take your time, there's no need to rush, since I am almost the only one who noticed it  Wink It's not important, it's just visually annoying.

Yes, the scheme thing is quite common, but, for some odd reason, it worked today. But not the dreadnought thing. It display the colours, but not all of them (if you have halved or quartered pattern, you'll know what I mean), and they don't display the correct badge. Sometime, dreads don't have any badge at all (I'm talking about Last Stand ^^)

Excellent set of badges Hanger 8...

Although I hope you don't mind but I've had a tweak around with latest version of this mod, this is purely for my own pleasure and I've not, and won't supply this to anyone else without your approval (In fact I'll leave it up to you)
I've added some more Chaos Army schemes based on the GamesWorkshop Codex Books and Imperial Armour using your badges from DOW 1, also added the two made up craftworlds from Dow 1 plus their representative badges, I've amended a handful of SM Chapter schemes to make them more like the visual representations in various GW and Imperial Armour Codexs, Also taken the liberty of removing a couple that annoyed me hope you don't mind.

[have you got a secure site for me to upload it to? its just the sga and ucs that I have edited and repacked - about 1.5Mb]

I know that you could still improve upon this as my badging skills aren't great. I still haven't grasped the transparency issues in DOW 2 yet.

Cheers anyway, this should be yours now, so let me know what you think

Hi there

I've now updated you latest version 4 of the 40k Army Chapters Mod for DOW2 Chaos Rising.
Also added nearly all the renegade space marine factions from the 4th edition Chaos Space Marine Codex

My badges have got alot better as well, I'm sure there would still be a few that you'll look at and want to make incredible!!

(I've got the edited sga and ucs files zipped ready to upload somewhere just under 1.5Mb)

Right I've now updated your badges mod with more pre-Heresy chapters to go with the Luna Wolves (one in particular where the colour scheme varied from current scheme) with new badges, as well as the previous renegade schemes that I've already done.

I'm enjoying using this myself, for Private skirmishes.

But would like you to have a look, you could definitely use the code as framework and just replace badges?

I need some some where to upload it for you

PS. just and example of thing I've changed ... ie Harbingers have yellow helmets, your scheme didn't just add that for example. There's a few more but only a half dozen or so.

Hi, me again... I've updated your version 5 with my Chaos Renegade factions and codex correct Marines etc, I think maybe this forum is totally dead now!

If there is anyone reading this, don't give up on DOW2 its really easy to add what ever badges and schemes you like as long as you have a sga extractor and compiler.

I'm not sure there is the same enthusiasm that was associated with Dawn Of War. real shame!

Thanks for the excellent mod.
Finally I can play pre-heresy Emperor's Children again  Grin

Now I'll just have to change the colors in the campaigns.

If you run out of ideas for new badges etc, some variant badges for the different chapters and legions would be cool.

Btw, one minor niggle, might be my setup, but all the pre-heresy schemes show up as "$something no range" in the army painter.

Again, thanks for an excellent mod.

Hi..

I got this also with the first version of Hanger 8's wicked badges mod, but I basically thick that it was due to the fact that a previous mod I'd used had screwed up my armypainter.ucs file so that the menu listings didn't match up with the code of the new schemes, so army painter would show the schemes but couldn't find their respective names

I reinstalled the entire game, a fresh (Things I'll go to for these fantastic badges and scheme!!) and then it worked perfectly
I think there is a less disruptive fix, but I'm not sure what... somebody out there might know???

Thanks for this mod.
I recently bought DoW2 for 5 bucks.
Perhaps I will give it a try again, but each time I start to play Dow2 a strong feeling of disappointment overwhelms me.
Some mods like this might give me some extra incentive.

@Tom: My bad, wrong armypainter.ucs file is in the zip. I'll repack the mod, but for now find the correct file attached to this post..

Sorry
