Yep, it has been that long. The site for all intents and purposes might look dead, but it isn't. There is still some activity on the forum where talented members still post work. Unfortunately however, this past year has been more than busy, and I've found little time to update the site. A couple of hardware crashes also destroyed a lot of work that was due to be posted by some of the contributing artists. Some of whom I can no longer contact. When I have had the time, it hasn't always been easy to find the inclination, and so for the most part the site has been left fallow.

Then of course, DOW2 has been announced. Good news, and I will continue to create B&B sets for the next game.. lets hope I don't have to do it all over from scratch though ;)

During the next few weeks, I am going to attempt to update the site, new layout perhaps, and new content. The sections also need to be cleaned up, and old files removed or replaced with the updated versions. If anyone wants to follow thesite, progress on new projects etc. I'd suggest joining the forums. The people there are a good bunch, and you'll find discussion on a lot of DOW and 40k related subjects.

Contrary to popular belief, the site isn't dead quite yet. I must admit these updates were a long time coming, and I have to apologise to the authors for this. It's quite possible these are the last sets from these authors, as I haven't heard from them since these were sent in.

I'd like to remind visitors that the Public Galleries have been closed. Unfortunate as this is, I have very little time to update the site. This coupled with the fact that after about 3 years, public submissions are pretty much a rare thing these days the section has been finalised. In the event of DOW2 coming along (if such a beast should exist), the Public Galleries may be re-opened.

In other news, I WILL get around to finishing off the Patterns section, with new content as well. Hopefully this will be in the next week or so instead of the next month or so :$

Yep, been a while. Real life™ can often put a wrinkle in the best laid plans (this site does not actually come under the 'Best Laid Plans' heading. Well intentioned, but hardly well planned ;) ).

Anyhow, news first. Public Gallery submissions are to be closed. After nearly 3 years the submissions have slowed to a trickle (hardly suprising). It also allows me to concentrate on the Hosted Galleries, which will be expanding all be it slowly. The Public Galleries have been moved to their own page, linked at the top left. A huge thanks goes out to the multitude of authors who submitted work over the years, your efforts are still being used in countless battles all across Dawn of War.

Over the next few weeks the site will be undergoing a few changes, nothing drastic.. mostly just finally updating the Patterns page with content and pics. I will also be removing some of the Public Gallery content, as some authors now have their own sections. Also, authors with existing sections but a couple of odd files in the Public Gallery will have the last bits moved to thier own section.

Submissions: What the site is all about and we have quite a few for you today:
Joril: Returns with the Word Bearers Pre Heresy set, as well as opening a new Imperial Guard section with the 1st Kronus Liberators, 2nd Kronus Ork Hunters and 3rd Kronus Daemonkillers.
EchoEcho: Gets a section of his own. Previously he's only had one B&B set up but the sudden influx of quality sets requires it's own section with the following sets.. Avatars of Mars, Brazen Minotaurs, Fire Hawks, Genesis Chapter,Red Legion, Storm Wings and the Watchmen of Terra for Space Marines.
ZKE: ZKE has been quietly submitting quality sets to the site for a while now so he gets his own section as well: Star Stalkers and Marauders for Chaos, Death Psalm, Death Psalm 2nd Company, Death Strike, Death Hawks and Doom Warriors for Space Marines. Wait for it.. there's also the Tau section, which covers all the current DOW Septs (which I'm not going to list.. visit the section, you won't be dissapointed).

All this makes my own submission seem rather meagre in comparisson, but I've added the Sons of Orar and the Emperors Spears to my Space Marines section.

As promised, though today it's just a quick 'n' dirty linkjob. I'll get around to updating the patterns page later this week. All files are currently Installer only (thanks to the guys at Clickteam). Zips will be made available later this week for those who like to mix and match.

Camo Tau (just as the name suggests)
Camo Tau Badge Patch (apparently not accurate according to the fluff, so released as a patch to the Camo set)
Necrons (minor teamcolouring and detail adjustmets. Allows for the bone faced freaks as seen on the GW pages)
Space Marines (Golden Eagle set final for DC. Minor changes to most units plus a redone DC Force Commander)

With the exception of a few Chaos skins already started and the long awaited Golden Eagles Vehicle sets, these will be the last skin sets from me. I just don't have the time these days. Any free time I have now for DOW will be devoted to B&B sets (much easier and less time consuming).
